Questions for a Red Wings Legend
Thanks to a family connection, I will be interviewing Red Wings Hall-of-Famer Alex Delvecchio next Monday. I have come up with a list of questions to ask him, but I also wanted to see if any of my readers (all 15 of you) had anything they wanted me to ask. Please leave any suggestions in the comments, and I will do my best to include your questions in my interview. I'll post up the audio of the interview Monday, and hopefully by the middle of the week I'll have the good stuff (if not the whole thing) transcribed.

Hey, that is pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be interesting to ask him to compare Gordie Howe and Maurice "Rocket" Richard to Alexander Ovechkin to see how AO stacks up against two of the greatest power forwards of all time.
Another cool question would be to get his take on where Nick Lidstrom ranks all time amongst defensemen. Bobby Orr is universally hailed as the #1 d-man of all time but Doug Harvey is considered #2 while Lidstrom is quickly moving up the rankings. So his thoughts on how Harvey and Lidstrom compare would be really interesting. They play a very similar game.
